We have an immediate opening for a
Pro Bono Coordinator (PBC)
to lead our efforts in expanding access to justice in Collier County. In this dynamic role, you will be the driving force behind our pro bono program, recruiting and supporting private attorneys while also identifying and connecting with clients in need. This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to make a tangible impact by matching legal expertise with community needs. Key Responsibilities Recruit and Engage Attorneys:
You'll build and maintain relationships with local bar associations, law offices, and corporate legal departments to recruit pro bono attorneys. Identify and Connect with Clients:
You will coordinate with local organizations, businesses, and community groups to find and assist individuals who need our services. This involves travel throughout Collier County. Case Management:
Assign cases to pro bono attorneys, provide them with all necessary documentation, and stay in touch to ensure a positive experience for both the attorney and the client. Outreach and Promotion:
Develop and distribute promotional materials like brochures and flyers to raise awareness of our services. Administrative Support:
You'll input data, prepare reports for grants, and support program growth and continuation throughout the year. Qualifications Florida Bar Membership:
You must be a member in good standing of the Florida Bar or a law school graduate. Experience:
You should have experience working with and advocating for low-income communities, along with experience in volunteer and event management. Skills:
We're looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, and has excellent communication skills. You should also have a strong command of Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree and knowledge of
Spanish and/or Creole
are preferred. The starting salary for this position is
$74,000 , which is competitive and will be commensurate with your experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Health, vision, and dental insurance Life insurance 13 paid holidays Generous leave allotments, starting with
