Overview
Territory Manager – Aerospace & Defense Aftermarket role at Donaldson. This position is in the Aerospace & Defense division and reports to the Global Aftermarket Sales Manager. The selected candidate will focus on selling filtration for commercial aerospace, rotorcraft, and defense applications into distribution and end-users. Qualified candidates must be able to work out of our Bloomington, MN office. Role Responsibilities
Grow sales of Aftermarket Product Travel within assigned US/Other territory to meet customers/distributors and uncover new business opportunities Act as primary contact for assigned accounts, which includes traveling to customer locations to solidify relationships, determining specific customer needs, and understanding application and business requirements Sell to end-users and channel partners such as distributors and MROs Establish, cultivate, and enhance customer relationships to maintain and grow the business Develop and implement strategic plans to meet growth targets Gather voice of customer feedback and share internally for continuous improvement initiatives Stay current on industry trends and competitor activities Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of direct sales experience 3+ years of direct sales experience Preferred Qualifications
Distribution sales experience, ideally calling on global distributors Previous experience in the Aftermarket Aerospace and Defense Industry (working with distributors and / or Airlines) is a major asset Previous experience in filtration would be a plus Consistent achievement of sales goals and forecasts Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and grow meaningful business relationships Sales background or degree would be highly preferred Technical aptitude, self-motivated Strong background with CRM and MS Office IMPAX training would be beneficial Travel and Relocation
Travel: Up to 25% Relocation: This position is not eligible for relocation assistance Compensation and Benefits
Annual Salary Range: $78,400 - $100,900. Actual salaries will vary based on work experience, training, education, and performance. Based on work location, geographic adjustment is included. This position is eligible for a sales incentive or commission plan, based on sales targets under company policy.
