Coordinate all meeting arrangements with planners and communicate information to respective departments via a group resume/BEOs; serve as the onsite contract for all events. Achieve departmental and individual goals to be eligible for bonus compensation and advancement. Ensure the highest quality of service for guests (internal and external) and maintain a positive attitude when facing adversity. Manage the Event Concierge team at Nemacolin and oversee CCS training and development programs, including SOPs. Prepare resumes for groups ten days prior to arrival and review details in weekly Group Resume meetings. Adhere to SOPs of Catering and Conference Services; help establish and maintain the resort’s marketplace position as Fayette County’s elite venue. Coordinate site inspections and client visits, communicating accurate details to all departments in advance. Proactively achieve high Medallia scores by maintaining client rapport and ensuring on-site presence during conferences. Conduct pre- and post-conference meetings with clients when appropriate. Ensure client accounts are serviced according to hotel standards and coordinate with banquet managers for related functions. Ensure accuracy of banquet event orders (BEOs) and provide information to departments 15 days before events. Remain available to hotel managers on property; monitor departmental revenue and opportunities for upselling. Participate in regular operational meetings; own the Event Concierge team responsibilities (schedules, timecards, feedback). Collaborate with the Director of Catering and Conference Services to ensure SOPs and property guidance are followed. Coordinate all aspects of conferences, including F&B, timing, A/V, guest handling, rooming lists, amenities, setup, group transportation, check-in/out, special meals, and required equipment and services. Qualifications
Flexible work hours to include weekends and holidays for a 24-hour operation. Excellent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication skills. College degree. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in catering sales or conference services, preferably as a manager in a luxury hotel. Professional appearance and presentation. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Delphi, Outlook, Social Tables, and related systems. Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 30 lbs. Why Nemacolin
