Situated in heart of McLemore, guests can enjoy two exceptional 18-hole courses and a popular six-hole short course, all three designed by Rees Jones and Bill Bergin.to learn more about what makes Cloudland at McLemore Resort a one-of-a-kind in experience in the Southeast!# **THE ROLE**#INDcloud**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES*** Serve as the primary liaison between clients and hotel departments for all group meetings, conferences, and events.* Review contracts, event orders, and banquet event orders (BEOs) to confirm accuracy and ensure all client requirements are met.* Coordinate meeting logistics, including room setup, audiovisual needs, catering details, and guest room blocks.* Conduct pre-convention meetings, site visits, and client walk-throughs to confirm details and build strong relationships.* Collaborate with banquet, culinary, AV, and operations teams to ensure flawless event execution.* Anticipate client needs and proactively resolve issues before and during events.* Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date files for each group to ensure efficient communication and service delivery.* Prepare group resumes and ensure all departments are briefed on upcoming events.* Monitor event progress and post-event feedback to measure client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.* Assist Sales with the smooth turnover of booked groups into active servicing, ensuring continuity of communication.* Participate in weekly sales and operations meetings to provide updates on upcoming events and client needs.* Uphold brand standards and service culture by delivering a consistently hospitable, professional, and detail-driven approach.**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES****Education:** Two to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.**Experience:** A minimum of two years sales experience in a related position. Hotel sales experience preferred.**Skills and Abilities:** Ability to perform critical analysis and manage wide-range of information. Extensive knowledge of negotiating, principles and practices within catering sales, food and beverage, and sales procedures associated with the hotel industry. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills sufficient to produce sales and marketing communication that properly reflect the Foundation Image. Listen effectively. Ability to delegate, manage manpower and organize complex projects and establishes priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives. Communicate to both, guests and fellow associates, professionally and positively.**PHYSICAL DEMANDS*** Lift
