Hybrid Work Model. Must be able to commute to Burbank, CA and/or Irvine on a hybrid work model (Tues/Wed/Thurs office days). Reports into Burbank as homebase about 95% of the time. Reporting to the Director, Community, the Senior Social Media Manager is an exciting role in the ongoing success of SEGA’s IPs and brands globally across games, consumer products, animation, and beyond. The Senior Social Media Manager will support the Social Media, Influencers, and Community teams by managing oversight into all Social Media for SEGA across its many games and IPs. This role is the definitive expert on Social Media at SEGA, owning and managing the core strategy and best practices across our platforms. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of Social Media experience in the gaming, entertainment, or consumer products industry and is passionate about games and players. Duties And Responsibilities

Oversee Social Media strategy across all SEGA IPs and franchises, working cross-functionally to maximize, improve and protect the value of our social channels. Own the content calendar and posting schedules for SEGA social channels, coordinating with internal teams to identify the best formats and timing for content. Identify quality-of-life improvements to social workflow, strategy, platforms, etc. Work with content managers and producers to coordinate and publish high-level social media content. Stay on top of social trends, tech developments, and new platforms to deliver informed recommendations for content. Plan and execute around viral content moments, building and streamlining approvals to ensure efficient production and fast turnarounds. Collaborate with Influencer team to find partners on social media for amplification, collaboration, and Creator Programs. Develop SEGA’s Social Media Brand Voice across multiple channels and create workflows to support this tonality. Leverage data and insights to activate conversations that grow engagement, brand trust, and conversions into fan spaces. Develop, track and analyze Social Media channel performance (views, CTR, engagement, fan growth, content-driven conversions). Work with Community Projects to produce weekly and monthly recap reports with insights and benchmarking. Optimize content strategy based on A/B testing, scroll behavior, and platform analytics feedback. Perform other responsibilities as assigned or needed. In-office attendance is an essential function of this position for supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. Reasons include: effective supervision of employees and work product; fostering communication; enabling quick collaboration; and enhancing information sharing to improve performance and outcomes. Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in a Social Media specific role; manager level experience preferred. Ability to plan complex calendars across multiple teams and spaces. Deep knowledge of Social Media metrics and KPIs with confidence speaking about the social landscape across platforms. Knowledge of content creation and influencer landscape within the gaming industry and ability to identify growing talent on social media. Strong interpersonal, written, and reporting skills. Proficient with JIRA, Trello, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and analytics tools preferred. Proficient with social media tracking and posting tools (e.g., Sprout, Sideqik). Creative thinker open to collaboration and developing unique workflows and processes. Flexible hours when coordinating with overseas teams. Ability to work as part of a small, busy team. Excellent internal and external communication skills with creators and the public. Positive and professional attitude. Understanding of social listening tools (e.g., Tubular, Synthesio) and ability to suggest others to improve insights. A passionate gamer with deep knowledge of the games landscape. Seniority level
