Job Summary

Reporting to the Director, Community, the Community Projects Manager supports the Social Media, Influencers, and Community teams by managing and supporting large-scale, cross-functional and cross-platform programs that drive the strategic goals of the Community at SEGA. You will serve as the bridge between critical business functions, delivering end-to-end scoping, planning, execution, and launch of initiatives to support day-to-day operations. The role requires experience working with cross-functional teams and high-level executives, and the ability to influence stakeholders across SEGA. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of Project, Program, and/or Community Management experience in the gaming or consumer products industry and is passionate about games and players. Duties And Responsibilities

Work with brand marketing, social media, community, public relations, and development teams in the Americas, EMEA, and Japan to drive the day-to-day workflow that powers Community and campaigns for brands like ATLUG, RGG, and SONIC. Collaborate with wider teams to identify opportunities for cross-functional engagement that resonates with SEGA fans. Lead complex cross-functional teams across Community, Influencers, and Social Media; manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and navigate abstract challenges. Collaborate with executive leadership to establish strategic alignment, communicate project status, and manage expectations. Develop and execute program plans and schedules to achieve targeted performance metrics aligned with executive-level expectations. Anticipate obstacles, negotiate changes with cross-functional stakeholders, and guide projects from concept through launch. Streamline best practices for projects and workflows and recommend effective structures. Support internal global teams across Licensing, Partnerships and Brand, along with external partners (Film/TV/Streaming/Animation/Business Partners) with Community support. In-office attendance is an essential function of this position to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office requirements include: Supervision of employees and oversight of work with access to supervisory support and status reviews. Fostering communication and collaboration through spontaneous brainstorming sessions and quick problem-solving. Enhancing information sharing to support job performance and product creation. Facilitating understanding of stakeholders’ work and business needs to improve workflow and outcomes. Qualifications and Skills

2–4 years of experience in a Community Manager or Project Manager role. Excellent project management and creative planning skills. Strong understanding of social platforms (e.g., TikTok, Twitch, YouTube) and platform-specific dynamics. Knowledge of the content creation and influencer landscape within the gaming industry. Strong interpersonal, written, and reporting skills. Proficient with JIRA, Trello, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and analytics tools (preferred). Creative thinker open to collaboration and developing unique workflows and processes. Open to flexible hours while working with overseas teams; able to work as part of a small, busy team. Excellent communication skills internally and externally to creators and the public. Positive and professional attitude. Understanding of social listening tools (e.g., Tubular, Synthesio) and ability to suggest other tools as needed. Passionate gamer with deep knowledge of the games landscape. Seniority level
