The Radiation Therapist Supervisor supervises the day-to-day functions and activities of the Radiation Therapy department staff, including lead and staff therapists, to ensure efficient operations and quality patient care. The supervisor may perform various clinical procedures such as treatment delivery and simulation. They coordinate to ensure standards and policies are consistent across all locations. Essential Functions:
Oversees lead and staff therapists, supports technical billing accuracy, responds to technical issues, ensures proper staffing, manages inventory, triages patient calls, and provides information related to patient treatment. Supports the manager with team evaluations, performance issues, recruitment, and administrative tasks. Serves as a role model and mentor to staff therapists. Education Requirements:
Associate degree in radiation therapy. Licensure/Certification Requirements:
ARRT, BLS, RT (T); preferred: ACLS. Experience Required:
5 years of experience as a lead therapist or therapy supervisor. Seniority level
