Content Creator Location:
New York, New York About the role:
You'll be the creative force behind social content that captures American cultural moments and translates them into compelling brand experiences across multiple categories. Working at the intersection of food culture, beauty trends, digital storytelling, and social media, you'll transform brand objectives into thumb-stopping content that drives engagement across diverse US audiences. What you will be doing: Lead the creation and editing of social-first content across multiple brands, originating storyboards, scripts, shot lists, and managing props from concept through delivery Ideate, plan, and produce high-quality video, still, and written content optimized for each social platform Edit and post-produce video content Proactively identify the latest trends and share concepts that make sense for different brand positionings – from premium ice cream to everyday beauty essentials Create versatile content including short-form videos, photography, GIFs, and clips featuring product demos, reveals, first-person POV content, lifestyle content, and meme content Adapt content creation approaches to suit different categories – from food styling for ice cream brands to tutorial-style content for beauty products Develop reactive content based on social trends or that ladders up to key brand campaigns across multiple categories Attend relevant US events such as shoots, PR, and influencer events to capture social content for various brands Organize your team's workload and manage various deadlines to ensure timely delivery of content across multiple brand projects What you need to be great in this role: A genuine passion for ice cream, food, and beauty & wellbeing products, with enthusiasm for innovation across these categories A portfolio showcasing 5+ years' experience generating engaging social content with demonstrated leadership ability Proficiency in 'Low-Fi' editing tools like Canva and CapCut Advanced ability to leverage AI tools for content ideation, creation, and optimization Demonstrated expertise in effective AI prompting techniques to enhance creative output while maintaining brand voice Deep expertise in TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platform creative styles and platform demographic implementation in content creation Well-rounded creative skills with a proven ability to innovate and create winning social content across diverse product categories Strong understanding of performance metrics and ability to use data to improve content effectiveness Strategic understanding of business and client objectives when interpreting and executing briefs Mastery in turning branded content into social media gold across different product categories Comfort directing on-camera talent and appearing on camera Ability to deal with ambiguity and work cohesively with diverse stakeholders Experience mentoring junior content creators and providing creative direction At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $89,250.00 to $99,750.00.
