Our leading financial client is seeking a highly skilled Instructional Design Specialist to join their team, focusing primarily on the design and development of innovative training solutions for client services-based departments. Design and Development Focus (approx. 90%): Partner with Project Leads and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, create, and develop new training programs and materials based on the ADDIE model (specifically Design and Development phases). Multi-Modal Development: Develop content across a variety of modalities, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), eLearning modules, self-paced courses, and virtual classroom materials. Technology Utilization: Develop, edit, and maintain content using essential tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), and Camtasia. Media Creation: Design and execute video development and editing for training content. Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively as part of local or remote teams, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders. Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within CG training processes and/or technologies and recommend viable solutions. Content Management: Utilize MS SharePoint Online to load, check in, and check out documents, demonstrating an intermediate level of experience with the platform. Project Execution: Prioritize work effectively, demonstrating strong organization, time management, detail orientation, and multi-tasking abilities to complete assignments in a timely manner. Instructional Design Mastery: In-depth knowledge of instructional design skills (focused on design and development) and deep understanding of adult learning theories. Authoring Tools: Expert proficiency with the Articulate 360 suite, including Storyline and Rise. Video & Editing: Proven experience with Camtasia and comprehensive skills in video development/editing. ADDIE Model: Demonstrated experience and proficiency in the Design and Development phases of the ADDIE instructional design model. Content Modalities: Ability to develop high-quality training in various modalities: ILT/VILT, eLearning, self-paced, and virtual classroom. Microsoft Office 365: Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel). SharePoint: Intermediate experience with MS SharePoint Online (loading, checking in, and checking out documents). Soft Skills: Strong detail orientation, organization, time management, multi-tasking, learning agility, and the ability to effectively collaborate. Preferred Qualifications
Additional Software: Experience with Captivate, Adobe Audition, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Platform Experience: Familiarity with the NovoEd Learning Platform. Media Skills: Experience with graphic design and recording/editing audio. Broader ADDIE Experience: Experience with the Analysis, Implementation, and Evaluation phases of the ADDIE model.
