We are looking for a Strategic Communications Specialist for a global aerospace company. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing communication strategies and tactics for Transformation implementation and engagement efforts. You will operate in an agile methodology and collaborate with senior leaders, cross-functional teammates and other communicators to develop and execute strategic communication plans that support change management efforts and implementation strategies across multiple Transformation value streams.
This is a 12-month contract (extensions are likely), 40-hour-per-week (4-day 10-hour shifts per week) hybrid role in Orlando, FL.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the business area Transformation and One Lockheed Martin Transformation (1LMX) communications leads to ensure consistency and alignment in communications efforts. Some travel between sites may be required. Accountable, proactive, collaborative, a strong writer and a big picture/strategic thinker. Create and execute multiple communication plans that emphasize change management methodologies to help employees adopt new ideas and technologies such as Model Based Enterprise. Assist in the creation and execution of larger strategic communications that help employees, teams and leaders understand Lockheed Martin's Transformation efforts. Partner with employees and leaders across the business to create and publish meaningful content about MFC's Transformation. Gather, understand and use complex data and metrics to develop insights, comm strategies and tactics
Requirements
3+ years of experience with professional Strategic communications planning and execution. 3+ years of experience with Writing, & editing. 1+ years of experience with Change management. 1+ years of experience with Data and metrics analytics. Bachelor's Degree.
