We are currently seeking a Chief Quality Officer / Chief Medical Officer for our new campus in Cypress, Texas, opening in March 2025.
Responsibilities
Implement the HM vision and strategy for excellence in clinical quality outcomes, value, and patient safety. Collaborate with the System CQO and other system physician leadership to develop strategy and goals for leading quality and patient safety; contribute to development of a High Reliability Organization. Embed safe and reliable processes into healthcare delivery; promote a Just Culture valuing patient safety, clinical excellence, evidence-based medicine, and continuous learning. Work with the System CQO, entity Director/VP of Quality & Outcomes, and all disciplines, hospital leadership, and medical staff to identify vulnerabilities, design health care processes using human factors and system principles, and learn to prevent adverse events and achieve high reliability and excellent outcomes. Leverage HM resources to fulfill obligations to the community, maintain premier marketplace position, and sustain leadership in medicine.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree. Texas Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
Leadership & Reporting
Reports directly to Executive leadership. Oversee department staff, ensure quality, productivity, functional excellence, and efficiency to meet strategic and operational objectives. Responsible for employee engagement, staffing levels, budget development and compliance, and hiring/terminating decisions. Coaching and policy development to ensure a safe and effective work environment; ensure training, monitoring, and operations initiatives comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.
