Brand & People Excellence Specialist — Mark-Taylor, Inc.
Overview Mark-Taylor is hiring a Brand and People Excellence Specialist to join the Brand and People Excellence Team. You will work primarily out of the Corporate Office in Scottsdale, Arizona, with travel to communities and across the Phoenix valley as needed.
Responsibilities
Serves as an instructor/facilitator to deliver engaging in-person classes, courses, programs and/or train-the-trainer, aligning with key employee milestones such as onboarding, career development, leadership, and promotion.
Designs and develops training courses (in-person and online) and materials, including Facilitator Guides, Participant Guides, PowerPoint presentations, Quick Reference Guides, and Job Aids.
Partners with T&D/HR, Business Leaders and stakeholders to assess needs, develop learning solutions, and deliver training to improve performance across the organization.
Maintains records on the learning management system for efficient delivery, accurate reporting, and a positive learner experience.
Uses the department email inbox to provide excellent service to employees, stakeholders and vendors.
Plans and coordinates end-to-end activities (scheduling, room booking, food planning) to ensure excellent delivery of in-person training.
Creates and runs engagement campaigns to support T&D initiatives and promote learning impact and social learning.
Develops learner assessment instruments, maintains documentation and curriculums to ensure employees gain necessary post-training abilities.
Measures training effectiveness, identifies gaps, and iterates curriculums with creativity and innovation.
Collaborates with cross-functional departments and stakeholders for ongoing training, development, engagement and retention efforts.
Supports the development of structures, policies, and workflows to ensure impactful and best-in-class training initiatives.
Participates in various training and development, HR initiatives and projects as requested.
Effectively communicates and drives brand values through HR, training and development activities.
Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing environment, with field-based operations and teams; experience in Property Management/Multifamily preferred.
1-3 years of experience contributing to training and development, mentoring or coaching; experience writing courses and curriculums and instructing classes preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional presence and ability to communicate at all levels.
Ability to adapt to change and derive personal fulfillment from supporting people.
Strong teamwork and the ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
Goal-oriented with accountability and willingness to learn and accept feedback quickly.
Passionate about learning, training and development and possessing a customer service and growth mindset.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365; bilingual (English, Spanish) a plus.
Bachelor’s degree and/or professional certifications a plus.
