Instructional Designer (Training Materials)

Overview
We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Instructional Designer. This is a remote position. This individual will be responsible for creating, formatting, and evaluating instructional training materials.
Responsibilities
Ability to create and produce structured training programs and curriculum which aligns with organizational goals using SuccessFactors LMS
Experience configuring and managing learning items, program, curricula within the LMS
Responsible for ensuring accurate setup and maintenance of learning items, curricula in SuccessFactors
Ability to work closely with lead instructional designers and subject matter experts and business leads
Responsible for the contribution to instructional design projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Previous experience analyzing job roles and tasks to inform curriculum design to ensure relevance
Ability to develop guidelines for participants, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and digital learning assets (eLearning modules and videos)
Responsible for reporting analytics within SuccessFactors
Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines and work with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts (SME)
Must be extremely detailed, organized and an excellent communicator
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field
Master’s degree
Minimum of seven years’ experience in Instructional Design, curriculum Development Learning Experience Design
Expert level proficiency in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar
Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and curriculum mapping
Experience developing both instructor-led and digital/virtual training solutions
Expert level experience with SuccessFactors Learning Management Systems in (LMS) including building and managing learning items, program, curricula, learning library, catalogs, and assignment profiles
Proficient with Microsoft Suite to include PowerPoint and Excel
Strong attention to detail and Project Management Skills
Experience designing digital learning experience and virtual instructor-led training (vILT)
Working knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards
Ability to work independently and manage time in a remote environment
Experience and background in maintaining complex technical curricula or enterprise-wide learning programs
Certification in Instructional Design, Project Management, or SuccessFactors LMS Administration a plus
