Overview
SAP SuccessFactors Instructional Designer – Contract Location: Irwindale, CA 91706 (remote). Position: SAP SuccessFactors Instructional Designer. Pay Rate: $39.39/hr. on W2. Duration: 18 months or longer. Schedule: M-F 7-4 (flexible) between 20-40 hours per week. Responsibilities
Create structured training programs and curricula aligned with organizational goals using SAP SuccessFactors LMS. Configure and manage learning items, programs, and curricula within the LMS; ensure accurate setup and maintenance of learning items and curricula in SuccessFactors. Collaborate with lead instructional designers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business leaders to identify learning needs and define objectives. Contribute to instructional design projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met. Analyze job roles and tasks to inform curriculum design; develop participant guides, facilitator guides, job aids, assessments, and digital learning assets (e.g., eLearning modules, videos). Required Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or learning experience design. Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS), including building and managing learning items, programs, curricula, learning library, catalogs and assignment profiles. Reporting and analytics within SuccessFactors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Experience with eLearning development tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and curriculum mapping. Ability to conduct needs assessments and job task analyses. Experience developing both instructor-led and digital/virtual training solutions. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; experience working with cross-functional teams and SMEs. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Desired Skills
Experience designing digital learning experiences and virtual instructor-led training (vILT). Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other eLearning standards. Background in maintaining complex technical curricula or enterprise-wide learning programs. Certification in instructional design, project management, or SuccessFactors LMS administration is a plus.
