We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Talent Acquisition Sourcer

to support hiring efforts across our contracts based in the Niceville, FL/Eglin AFB area. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and maintaining pipelines of highly-qualified talent, engaging both active and passive candidates, and partnering with recruiters and hiring managers to meet key staffing needs. As the first point of contact for many candidates, you will represent our employer brand, deliver an excellent candidate experience, and ensure we attract a diverse pool of talent to support our mission-driven work.

Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:

Sourcing & Outreach

Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, military networks, and professional associations.

Proactively identify and engage passive and active candidates through personalized outreach.

Map markets and research talent pools specific to DoD and Eglin AFB requirements.

Pipeline Development & Candidate Engagement

Build and maintain pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

Screen resumes and candidate profiles to assess fit for role requirements.

Maintain ongoing communication to foster relationships with potential candidates.

Collaboration & Strategy

Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies with business priorities.

Share market insights, competitor intelligence, and talent availability data.

Promote our employer brand across professional and defense-related networks.

Data & Process

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the ATS.

Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to evaluate effectiveness.

Continuously refine sourcing approaches to improve efficiency and candidate experience.

Qualifications Citizenship:

Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field

Years of Experience:

At least four years of experience in a recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition role, experience in the DoD space is preferred.

Certifications:

AIRS certifications preferred

Technical Skills

Proven experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or research (DoD, defense contracting, or government hiring experience a plus).

Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to identify top talent and assess hiring markets.

Hands-on experience with sourcing tools, Boolean search techniques, and professional networking platforms.

Familiarity with ATS and candidate management systems. iCIMS is preferred.

Interpersonal Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates across diverse backgrounds.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Location:

Niceville, FL/Eglin AFB area

Travel:

~10%

Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid:

Remote role, must be local to Niceville, FL/Eglin AFB. Some in office requirements may exist for team meetings and/or collaboration sessions.

May involve occasional evening and weekend work to meet recruitment goals and deadlines.
