Meruelo Media is looking for an energetic and detail-oriented

Part-Time Digital Marketing Assistant

to support our growing digital initiatives across our radio station brands and platforms. You’re in the “building your career” phase but should be an ambitious self-starter with a passion for creating engaging content that resonates with online audiences. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working with cross-functional teams, and are eager to learn the ins and outs of digital marketing. The right candidate will have an eye for trends, strong creative instincts, and a knack for storytelling across social, web, and email channels. This position is perfect for someone who wants to grow their skills in content creation, analytics, and brand marketing while helping to strengthen the digital voice of Meruelo Media’s radio station brands. As a

part-time role , this position will collaborate with multiple departments—including Digital, Marketing, Sales, and Programming—to develop content and campaigns that elevate our brands, engage audiences, and support revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented problem solver who can balance creativity with deadlines, is comfortable juggling multiple priorities, and has strong written and visual communication skills. Responsibilities

Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to execute online campaigns, promotions, and initiatives that grow audience engagement and brand awareness. Assist in planning and creating original content for social media, websites, newsletters, and other digital channels. Support paid and organic marketing efforts, including tracking performance metrics and preparing reports. Help manage day-to-day posting schedules across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Monitor social media communities, respond to comments/messages, and encourage audience interaction in a professional and brand-aligned voice. Assist in creating digital graphics, short videos, and other multimedia content aligned with brand guidelines. Support the execution of email marketing campaigns, including drafting copy, formatting newsletters, and tracking results. Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure client deliverables and sponsored content meet expectations and deadlines. Provide on-the-ground support at events, capturing and posting real-time content when needed. Stay informed on emerging trends, platforms, and best practices to keep our digital strategy fresh and competitive. Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation (internships or equivalent experience considered). Familiarity with major social platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Basic understanding of online marketing tactics, including social strategy, email marketing, and analytics. Experience using content tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar for basic design and photo/video editing. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen attention to detail. Creative thinker who enjoys brainstorming ideas and bringing them to life. A proactive, adaptable, and dependable team player who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves and learn.
