We seek Christ-centered professionals to join our team. The musician will provide musical support for the Choir and Orchestra with the Music & Worship Ministry.
Job Description
The musician will be responsible for: Providing instrumental ministry support related to the duties of the Instrumental Music Ministry Attending regular Wednesday night rehearsals (6:30 – 8:30 PM) Playing in all Sunday rehearsals and worship services with the First Dallas Orchestra (8:15 AM – 12:15 PM) Participating in special services and musical events in which the First Dallas Orchestra is involved Following standard, professional orchestra etiquette Performing all other duties assigned by the Associate Minister of Instrumental Music and Concertmaster Spiritual Requirements

Embodying the Green Team Characteristics and working according to Operating Principles Being a High School Student or College Student pursuing a degree in Music Possessing a high standard of ensemble participation Demonstrating a high level of musical proficiency in playing an instrument Demonstrating strong musical leadership qualities An audition may be required Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and stand for 2-4 hours Ability to play a musical instrument for extended periods of time First Baptist Dallas is an equal opportunity employer.
