Overview

The law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a shareholder-level attorney with significant experience in traditional labor law to join our nationally-recognized Labor & Employment practice. This is a unique opportunity to develop and lead the Firm’s traditional labor capabilities across industries and our geographic footprint. The ideal candidate is a seasoned practitioner with deep management-side labor experience and is looking to build and grow a practice within a collaborative and entrepreneurial firm culture. Key Responsibilities

Advise employers on all aspects of traditional labor law, including union avoidance, union organizing, collective bargaining, grievance arbitration, labor strategy, and NLRB matters. Represent clients before the National Labor Relations Board and in labor arbitrations and negotiations. Manage and grow a strong book of business while fostering new client relationships. Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups and offices on complex labor and employment matters. Serve as a mentor and leader to junior attorneys within the labor & employment practice. Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in traditional labor law, with a demonstrated track record of success representing employers. Admission to practice in the state where the attorney will be based. Self-sustaining portable book of business required. Experience leading labor strategy and negotiations strongly preferred. Strong communication, relationship-building and client service skills.
