Overview
Associate Marketing Manager, On Premise — Women of the Vine & Spirits. The Associate Manager, On Premise Marketing will report to the On Premise Marketing Manager and is responsible for the development and implementation of on-premise marketing initiatives. Through communication, collaboration, and coordination, this position will ensure Sales has everything they need to successfully execute the brand plans within the segment. This position offers a high degree of flexibility with a strong preference for the CT/NY area. Responsibilities
Responsible for developing programs and tools in support of National Accounts On Premise (NAOP) that drive performance objectives in that channel. Assist the On Premise Marketing Manager to negotiate, plan, and implement local events occurring within licensed on-premise accounts. Create marketing processes and solutions with external and internal customers to grow the categories and brand. Partner with field and execution teams to ensure the plans, tools and measurements are in place to deliver category and brand growth. Analyze and translate data to identify trends and growth opportunities within the on-premise channel. Invest time across on-premise account types to understand a broad view of the market and trends. Travel expectation: 25%. Critical Skills
Strong expertise in on-premise channel dynamics in Bev Alc developing and supporting on-premise initiatives. Ability to negotiate, plan and implement on-premise events. Highly organized with excellent planning skills, prioritizing choices where appropriate and strong problem-solving abilities. Active listening to colleagues, employees, customers, industry experts and consumers. Influencing and partnering with other departments and functions to guide a unified approach. Exhibits high standards for work and expects the same from others. High commercial acumen with strong problem-solving abilities. Requirements
Undergrad degree required; 3+ years of commercial sales/marketing experience in spirits/wine supplier industry or other CPG companies. Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion and selling techniques, with strong analytical capabilities. Strong understanding and experience of marketing levers to drive growth within all segments of On-Premise (including NAOP). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
