The Event Reservation Coordinator will coordinate and review events in general campus spaces, including reserving spaces for internal and external requesters. The role chairs the Events Logistics Committee and interacts regularly with unit staff, faculty, students, external clients, and guests. The position advises and counsels students and sponsors and may supervise student employees. Responsibilities

Conduct event scheduling for general campus indoor and outdoor spaces; determine scope and objectives with event sponsors; ensure compliance with institutional policies and reserve space; consult with Campus Space staff as needed. Serve as chair of the Event Logistics Committee; convene meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and disseminate minutes and action items. Maintain online documentation of processes and policies, including checklists and FAQs. Provide regular updates to senior managers on upcoming events. Continuously improve the general space request review process; test and implement process improvements and measure customer satisfaction. Conduct follow-up to determine adequacy of services and use feedback to improve processes. Hire, train, and supervise a team of student employees. Identify prospective customers and generate revenue. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Educational & Experience Requirements

Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Experience One to two years of job-related experience. Preferred Qualifications Technical Diploma, Associate's Degree, or two years of college coursework. Experience in event coordination and/or space reservation/management, process mapping, and customer-focused improvements. Experience leading a multi-functional committee. Familiarity with event management software (EMS or 25 Live). Skills and Abilities

Knowledge, skills, and abilities related to event management, customer service, organization, process mapping, decision making, and scheduling. Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, on-site event support, and effective communication. Department Information

The Student and Campus Event Centers (SCEC) manage reservations for multiple campus spaces and support student activities, leadership development, and event management. $47,872.00 - $56,500.00 depending on experience Location:
