Overview
Temporary Merchandise Associate at The TJX Companies, Inc. This role involves supporting the store team to deliver a positive customer experience and maintain store standards across TJ Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, Sierra, Winners, and TK Maxx locations. Responsibilities
Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Adhere to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards. May be cross-trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs. Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers; promote credit and loyalty programs. Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and handle cash according to operating procedures; prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company standards. Initiate and participate in store recovery, maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and store overall; contribute to safety awareness and a safe environment. Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback; support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs. Other duties as assigned. Who We’re Looking For
Possesses excellent customer service skills; able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs; strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail; capable of multi-tasking. Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations; capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation; works effectively with peers and supervisors; retail customer experience preferred.
