Overview

Area Sales Manager at Providence Medical Technology You must have 2+ years in spine sales OR 2+ years in orthopedic sales to be considered for this role. The Territory Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the sales function, act as a key influencer in the field, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts. The territories have an established client base with key surgeons and significant growth potential. Responsibilities

Maintain and increase sales volume within assigned accounts and territories; meet and exceed quota and sales objectives, accelerating revenue and market penetration of Providence Medical Technology (PMT) products. Perform selling functions including introducing products to new customers, coordinating product evaluations, providing technical support, and creating financial proposals for hospitals. Act as a key influencer with PMT\'s targeted customer base in the field; spend substantial time face-to-face with customers. Explain targeted solutions to surgeons and key influencers while moving the sales process toward closure. Target strategic accounts to drive growth opportunities, especially in accounts without current sales coverage. Recruit, train, and develop surgeon customers through exceptional service and solution-minded interactions. Acquire clinical knowledge of all PMT products to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for surgical case coverage. Provide regular weekly and timely feedback to the Area Vice President on sales performance, market feedback, target accounts, and ideas for sales growth. Execute or exceed annual surgeon training and monthly surgeon prospect training goals. Maintain administrative responsibilities such as managing customer interactions, prospect trainings, and data entry; effectively use Salesforce and expense management tools. Partner with operations to maintain and track inventory; manage expenses within budgeted allocations. Implement successful surgeon training courses as new technology is introduced; attend trade shows and strategic customer meetings as agreed. Collaborate across departments as internal customers to prioritize tasks for efficiency and compliance; adhere to all company employment policies and safe practices. Travel >60%. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Two (2) or more years of outside sales experience. Two (2) or more years of experience in the Medical Spine Device industry is required. Proficient with Word, Excel, charting, flow charts, and graphs; competency with web-based applications including sales enablement tools, Google apps, and Salesforce. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Skilled at presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Proven success of launching new technology. Proficient in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to solve problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; proficient in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Proven track record of team and sales management success. Current valid driver’s license and ability to drive a personal vehicle for work; capability to obtain hospital credentials.
