Overview
Art Director role at Coach. The eCommerce Studios Art Director will lead the creation of Coach product detail page (PDP) content across still life, on-model photography, and video. This role requires an elevated taste level, sharp creative vision, and the ability to maintain brand standards while meeting demanding shot count and turnaround goals in a high-volume studio. The Art Director is primarily execution-focused—directing on set, overseeing model casting and talent selection, managing asset reviews, and delivering consistent, high-quality content. The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Art Direction to lead PDP content creation and on-set execution, deliver actionable feedback, and manage teams to sustain momentum while upholding brand standards.
Responsibilities
Lead PDP content creation across product stills, on-model photography, and video, balancing speed, efficiency, and quality Direct on-set execution for photographers, stylists, and models to ensure consistent output and high-volume throughput Provide clear, actionable feedback that motivates and fosters a high-performance creative culture Redirect and refocus teams when necessary, diffusing tension and maintaining momentum Lead and elevate the model casting process with a refined eye for representation; build and maintain long-term casting pipelines Build and maintain a best-in-class freelance talent pool across hair & makeup, photography, video, and styling Manage 150+ daily asset reviews, ensuring accuracy and consistency while balancing on-set workload Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize studio and post-production workflows Partner with the Senior Art Director to ensure output reflects brand vision while meeting KPIs Assist creative lead with concept ideation and reference imagery for elevated fashion, still-life photography, and video Communicate vision and strategy to cross-functional teams and external partners Stay informed on PDP creative trends, innovation, and emerging technologies to evolve content standards Qualifications
Proven Experience: A minimum of 6+ years art direction preferably in fashion, or luxury retail Exceptional Portfolio: Demonstrated elevated taste level and ability to uphold brand standards across diverse content High Volume Leadership: Experience leading large-scale photography and video production with demanding throughput Industry Network: Established connections with top-tier photographers, stylists, producers, and agencies Casting Experience: Extensive experience in model casting and talent direction with representation awareness Inspiring Leadership: Strong communication skills to motivate, influence, and build partnerships Operational Agility: Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities Creative Adaptability: Ability to take direction and present multiple solutions aligned to studio goals Our Competencies
