Overview
The Los Angeles, CA office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Toxic Tort & Environmental Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong research and writing skills and at least one to seven years of experience in all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Admission to the California Bar is required. We represent clients in toxic tort and environmental matters across state, federal, and administrative hearings and trials, covering areas such as Superfund multi-site litigation and coordinated Federal Multi-District Litigation. Our client base includes generators, landowners, municipalities, site operators, and companies of various sizes, from startups to Fortune 500s. The firm is frequently selected to serve as National Counsel in mass tort and products liability litigation, including asbestos and related automotive, dietary supplement, and other matters. Handle all phases of toxic tort and environmental litigation, including case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. Engage in client counseling and development of legal strategies in state, federal, and administrative forums. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on complex matters, including mass tort and multinational client matters. Qualifications
At least 1 to 7 years of relevant experience in toxic tort and environmental litigation. Strong research and writing skills. Admission to the California Bar is required. Experience with case management, motion practice, discovery, hearings, depositions, arbitrations, and trials is preferred. Salary
Minimum Salary: USD $135,000.00/Yr. Maximum Salary: USD $180,000.00/Yr. Benefits
