Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Instructional Designer to join our Client Education team in Costa Rica. This role supports the Senior Instructional Designer in developing and maintaining a role-based curriculum of instructor-led, web-based, and eLearning courses tailored to meet our customers’ training needs. The Instructional Designer will contribute to all aspects of course development—from needs analysis and design to content creation and rollout—while partnering cross-functionally with internal teams and external clients. What You’ll Be Doing

Support the Client Education team in refining training processes and best practices

Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of internal staff on delivery procedures

Gather training requirements across studies and customer sites

Coordinate raw content production for eLearning, video, and instructor-led formats

Collaborate with SMEs, product teams, and project managers to ensure instructional accuracy

Design curricula for product, project, and protocol-specific training

Develop technical product training courses for external clients

Manage updates and archival of training assets

Ensure new product features are reflected in training content

Contribute to consistent processes for product launches and updates

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

What We Look For

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or related field (preferred)

2–3 years of experience designing and developing instructional content

Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

Experience creating content for multiple formats (instructor-led, virtual, eLearning)

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Strong cross-functional collaboration skills

Experience in regulated industries or life sciences (preferred)

Familiarity with Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, LMS, CMS

Ability to learn technical products quickly from documentation and pre-release versions

Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a collaborative environment

Experience designing global training programs and eLearning certifications (preferred)

Knowledge of agile and rapid development methodologies
