Social Media Coordinator – New York City
Marquee Brands is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to support the development and execution of social media strategies that strengthen brand visibility, grow community engagement and drive performance across digital platforms. This role plays a critical part in shaping the voice of our brands through content creation, community management and performance tracking. Reporting into the senior team, the Coordinator will collaborate closely with Marketing & PR, Creative and external partners to deliver daily social content and engagement, while ensuring alignment with Marquee Brands’ overall marketing objectives.

Responsibilities
Support the execution of social media strategies that enhance brand visibility, engagement and performance across all digital platforms
Partner with marketing and creative teams to develop, adapt and publish content aligned to brand voice and campaign objective
Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling and community engagement across social channels, ensuring timely responses and brand-appropriate interactions
Create, organize and maintain editorial and content calendars to align with product launches, campaigns and seasonal initiatives
Track and report on key social media metrics, providing insights to inform strategy and optimize performance
Monitor trends, competitor activity and platform updates to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
Collaborate with influencer, brand and partnership teams to support content amplification and campaign activations
Ensure all social content complies with brand guidelines, usage rights and legal requirements
Assist with cross-functional marketing initiatives by providing social media support for events, collaborations and digital campaigns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related field.
1–2 years of professional experience in social media, digital marketing, or content creation (internships included)
Strong understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and content best practices
Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills with attention to detail
Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or similar)
Experience with analytics tools (Dash Hudson, Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment
