Job Duties
Create a welcoming taproom for guests and team members
Manage day-to-day activities for taproom operations; ensuring taproom staff has adequate support and tools to perform their duties successfully
Utilize SOP checklists to ensure work is completed on time and to high standards
Create weekly schedules for taproom staff at minimum one week in advance for at least two weeks out.
Build and maintain an energetic and disciplined taproom environment (cleanliness, conduct, music, sports/TV, etc.)
Work with Management, Sales & Marketing team, and Brew staff to effectively market the taproom via Website, Social Media, or other
Manage weekly inventory of draft beer, beer-to-go, coffee, wine & spirits, cleaning supplies, etc. and re-order as needed
Maintain continued focus on optimization and growth to increase taproom revenue using POS data and Metrics collection spreadsheets
Serve as team leader for taproom staff and represent the brewery on and off site
Compile daily taproom sales reports for management
Qualifications
5 years of management experience in a bar or brewery taproom
Experience motivating and leading small teams to success
Available to work 40+ hours per week, including nights and weekends as necessary
Have exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills
Demonstrated leadership qualities, systems thinking
Demonstrated knowledge of craft beer, including basic understanding of beer production
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Proactive problem-solver in fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 50lbs
Manage high-stress environment and effectively plan
Aptitude for quick learning and operations focused mentality
