Job Summary The Communications and Office Administrator is well organized, passionate, and leads from the heart to maintain daily operations, communicate effectively, and partner with all staff and ministry teams. The position requires strong attention to detail, the capability to communicate well, and the ability to stay focused and organized. Staff Ministry Qualifications: A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and with consistent evidence of fruit in their personal life Demonstrated traits of a disciple of Jesus Spiritually mature and committed to being a disciple Member of Bethel and committed to the BFC Articles of Faith Attend worship services, personally invest in Bethel ministries, and actively participate in the body life of the church Specific Ministry Qualifications: Excellent written, visual, and interpersonal communication skills Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., phones, computers, printers) and general comfortability with technology (e.g., basic websites, social media) Capacity to multitask, take initiative, be patient, and attend to details A friendly and professional demeanor, a hospitable and humble spirit, and a kind, compassionate, and caring heart Supports church leadership in promoting the church’s vision and mission Primary Responsibilities Administration Maintain Planning Center church management system Keep attendance records Update website Participate in weekly staff meetings Maintain inventory for office supplies Maintain clearances for all volunteers and staff Manage facility usage including outside rentals Produce annual congregational report Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Administrator Communication Communication liaison with guests, attendees, vendors, volunteers, staff, etc. through various methods including phone, email, and personal face-to-face interactions. Provide up-to-date info regarding upcoming events and announcements (e.g., printed materials, emails, newsletters, electronic signs, website, social media). Prepare weekly materials, including but not limited to, prayer guide, announcements, Friday Sneak Peek, media for video screens, YouTube livestream, ProPresenter. Compile and create quarterly booklet. Ministry Support Provide general ministry support to church leadership. Maintain Ministry Calendar. Create promotional and informational material for ministries. Make copies, secure supplies, organize resources, and gather information as requested by church ministry leaders. Support and participate in KidzVenture Summer. Position Type & Work Schedule Part-Time (32 hours/week). This position is in-office only during regular church office hours.
