Note:
Internally titled Account Strategist, Content & SEO. The Content Strategist is a client-facing role responsible for day-to-day deliverables, creating and managing custom client strategies, and communicating with clients and internal stakeholders. This role typically supports Enterprise clients and requires deep understanding of the service line and its impact on other business areas to create a holistic marketing strategy. What You'll Do
Strategic Excellence and Best Practices: Create custom strategies and implement best practices to achieve NSMs. Build initial client strategy during project phase and continuously optimize based on goals, campaigns, and performance while adhering to Directive best practices. Collaboration: Work closely with Associate Director (AsD) when roadblocks affect strategy and goal attainment. Craft creative briefs and content campaigns guided by competitor and audience insights. Core Best Practices: Apply LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to inform strategies. Goal Setting: Use data to set client goals, reviewed and approved by the AsD, who should participate in the meetings. Data Sources: Google Analytics, CRM data, SEMRush, and Ahrefs. Project Management: Ensure strategy execution and clear task ownership using Asana. Delegate tasks to team members and clients, ensuring timely completion. Partner with Project Managers to align tasks, dates, and client communication. Collaborate with writers and designers to deliver content campaigns on time and to client standards. Internal and External Communication: Act as the main interface with clients and internal teams. Proactively communicate timelines, progress on goals, and deliverables through channels like Slack and regular meetings. Highlight roadblocks and opportunities for growth to internal leadership. Reporting: Regularly report progress and impact to clients with a cadence of bi-weekly meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reports, and bi-annual business reviews. Include NSM progress and ongoing deliverables in updates. What You'll Bring
Proven track record in SEO principles and content strategy: keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building. Analytical skills to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics. Strong communication and client-facing abilities, with stakeholder relationship management. Familiarity with industry tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog/crawling tools). Excellent organizational, project, and time management skills. Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content. Agency experience required; B2B tech and/or SaaS experience preferred. Goals
NSM Attainment: 100% MRR Retention: 96% CSAT > 4.2 Upsells/Cross-sells/Referrals: Strategists should seek opportunities to grow clients with Directive (e.g., expanding services, increasing budgets). Referrals are encouraged at key moments (e.g., new job for client contact). What We Offer
