After Hours Hotline Advocate

CVOEO . This position is responsible for responding to after-hours hotline calls, providing crisis intervention, support, and advocacy for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The Advocate will respond to requests for shelter, as well as handle after-hours shelter emergencies, law enforcement, hospital calls, and requests for protection orders. The Advocate will alternate weeks and be paid an hourly wage for calls and call-outs. Please view our job description: After Hours Hotline Advocate. Requirements : Bachelors in Human Services or equivalent education and experience preferred. Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, trauma-informed care, and experience working in a crisis-oriented environment preferred. Training provided. Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills while promoting the core values of the organization.
