Location: Daleville, Virginia. Partly remote is possible. Requires: Frequent travel across the Americas, and occasionally globally to support other regions. About The Role
Munters Data Center Technologies (DCT) is entering a new phase where events and trade shows are recognized as a growth engine. The Event Manager will take full ownership of all physical events in the Americas – from major international trade shows to smaller, targeted industry events. This is a new role in the organization, created to bring structure, strategy, and measurable impact to our event activities. You will be part of the global marketing team led by the Global Marketing Manager, while working closely with sales leaders and account managers to ensure events translate into real business opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Event strategy & prioritization: Identify and evaluate relevant trade shows and industry events across the Americas. End-to-end ownership: Plan, book, and manage all aspects of participation. Sales enablement: Map prospects ahead of each event and lead preparation meetings with sales teams to maximize lead generation and customer engagement. Measurement & optimization: Build a framework for measuring event ROI and impact on business growth. Collaboration & expansion: Act as the main point of contact for Americas events, and support other regions. Qualifications
Experience of managing large-scale trade shows or physical events. Strong project management skills. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and external vendors. Strong negotiation and vendor management experience. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Personal qualities
Naturally collaborative and service-minded. Proactive, structured, and self-driven with a passion for making things happen. Curious and eager to build new processes and best practices from the ground up. Nice to have
Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, or event management platforms. Experience establishing new structures/processes in an international organization. Certifications (CMP, CEM) are a plus. Equal Opportunity Employer:
