– Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC). Reports to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. FLSA: Salaried/Exempt. Base Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000. This role supports the Vice President of Sales & Marketing in promoting the LACC’s image and messaging, leads marketing initiatives to elevate the Center’s public and industry presence, manages brand identity, and oversees the creation and distribution of promotional materials. The position is onsite and requires collaboration with multiple departments and events from start to finish. Responsibilities

Effectively position the LACC as part of the DTLA campus and as a premier ASM Global/Legends venue. Promote upcoming facility expansions and event details; partner with event organizers to drive attendance and messaging. Create and distribute monthly internal newsletters to facilitate team engagement and offer event discounts to city partners. Prepare and distribute facility press releases and handle press inquiries as required. Identify and pursue industry awards and recognition. Develop advertising and business promotion programs. Support the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board’s efforts in positioning the venue within the meetings and events marketplace. Stay up to date on marketing trends to improve LACC’s positioning and communications through external webinars, seminars, and conferences. Website / Social Media

Develop and implement the LACC Strategic Marketing Plan with a focus on website and social media growth, follower engagement, and content quality. Utilize LACC social channels to promote events, achievements, and sustainability initiatives. Manage website updates to support sales, events marketing, City of Los Angeles collaborations, and overall center needs; monitor related traffic and chatter. Collateral and In-House Assets

Create and update digital and print collateral to support internal teams and initiatives such as sustainability programs and facility expansion. Collaborate with internal departments to produce an Annual Report, including content writing, image collection, and design direction. Develop in-house messaging and directional signage for digital screens; create static signage as needed. Manage Direct Report

Oversee delivery of creative assets and social media strategy in collaboration with the Assistant Marketing Manager; liaise with cross-functional partners to set goals, manage progress, and deliver outcomes. Oversee photography for major events for promotional and in-house use; post upcoming events to the facility’s exterior screens. Manage ASM Global / Legends Marketing Relationship

Share LACC achievements with ASM Global/Legends through established channels; participate in scheduled TEAMS calls and in-person marketing conferences. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years’ experience in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related fields (combination of education and experience considered). Ability to adapt to change and work effectively under shifting priorities; strong problem-solving and judgment, with excellent customer service. Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration with internal departments; respect for chain of command. Excellent verbal, written, and proofreading skills; familiarity with public events or convention center terminology; strong creative, strategic, and analytical abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-pressure environment; self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Onsite availability with variable work hours, including late hours, early mornings, holidays, and weekends; reliable transportation may be required. Education And/Or Experience

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or related field preferred. Skills And Abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), database management, and website hosting/management; photography experience preferred. Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills, with ability to plan, organize, and facilitate programs; knowledge of event/convention center terminology. Experience creating and executing social media strategies; familiarity with platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc. Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; capable of managing projects independently in a high-pressure environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask toward goal achievement. Other Qualifications

Experience in the Convention Center, Hospitality, or Entertainment industry preferred; knowledge of Momentus (Ungerboeck Systems Inc) preferred. Physical Demands
