Visual Storyteller – Editor and Videographer

CigarTV is a global streaming channel dedicated to the cigar industry and lifestyle. Currently live on Roku and 10 other streaming services with 20 more in the pipeline, our original shows, documentaries, promos, and event coverage reach a growing worldwide audience. We’re looking for a versatile Video Editor & Videographer to join our creative team. Success in this role means taking the lead on editing projects into visually stunning, story-driven content that elevates CigarTV’s presence as the leading voice for cigar culture. While the core of this role is editing, there will be times you’ll be hands-on with shooting, capturing high-quality footage that supports the storytelling and production needs of the channel. Responsibilities: Edit raw footage into polished episodes, promos, and documentaries for streaming and digital platforms Develop pacing, structure, and storytelling flow that keeps viewers engaged Collaborate with producers and on-camera talent to ensure projects meet creative and brand standards Operate Sony FX30 and FX6 cameras when needed for cinematic b-roll, product shots, interviews, and live events Set up and manage lighting, audio, and staging for studio and on-location shoots when assisting with production Stay current on editing trends, visual styles, and social content formats to keep CigarTV innovative Organize, manage, and archive media assets for ongoing and future projects Qualifications: Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio/showreel required); additional camera operation skills a plus Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) Strong knowledge of editing workflows and storytelling techniques for both long- and short-form content Familiarity with Sony FX30 and FX6 camera systems for supplemental shooting Experience with documentary-style storytelling preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively on creative projects Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
