Graphic Designer
to support the University’s mission and brand through high-quality visual design across print and digital platforms. This position plays a vital role in advancing institutional goals by creating engaging, purposeful, and strategic designs that inspire, inform, and connect diverse audiences. Rooted in our

respect, integrity, service, and excellence , the Graphic Designer works closely with campus partners to develop visual communications that reflect the University’s Catholic identity and commitment to personal and professional development. Key Responsibilities: Design visually compelling materials including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, event signage, email templates, presentations, and more. Uphold and evolve the Thomas More University brand by ensuring consistency across all visual touchpoints. Collaborate with departments and offices to translate ideas into impactful visual designs that serve students, faculty, staff, and the broader community. Support University marketing campaigns by designing print and digital advertisements, web graphics, and promotional content. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail. Stay current on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve creative output. Core Values in Action: Respect:

Deliver polished, high-quality designs that effectively communicate key messages and enhance the University's reputation. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field. 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design (in-house, agency, or freelance). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and familiarity with Canva or similar tools. Strong portfolio showcasing print and digital design work. Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to accept feedback and work collaboratively across teams. Experience with basic video editing, photography, or motion graphics is a plus. Work Environment: This position is based on campus and may require occasional evening or weekend hours to support events.
