Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist (Virtual Inpatient) - Open Rank Location: North Carolina, US. Working location designated as virtual with possible changes based on unit needs. Full-time permanent faculty position in the UNC Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Be a Tar Heel! Provide psychiatric care to inpatient adolescents virtually via the Epic platform, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and well-being. Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Support the School of Medicine’s Working Forward initiative with flexible work arrangements, primarily daytime weekday hours, and participation in the call pool for occasional after-hours and weekend coverage. Engage in professional service, teaching, and scholarly activities as a full-time faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry. Qualifications
MD or DO degree; Board eligible or certified psychiatrist. Eligible for a North Carolina medical license; Board eligibility/certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Telepsychiatry experience preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment. Special Instructions / How to Apply
