Position Summary The Division of Cardiology is recruiting a General Cardiologist for an Open Rank, Fixed‑Term, Tenure or Tenure‑Track, or Variable‑Track appointment. The role is full‑time clinical, involving outpatient cardiology care (including developing a referral practice), inpatient unit or consult service coverage, and teaching cardiovascular fellows, residents, and medical students. Additional responsibilities may include seeing patients at an outreach clinic and/or interpreting advanced cardiac imaging studies.
Position rank and track (fixed term vs. tenure track vs. variable track) is dependent on applicant qualifications and experience.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements MD Degree
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
Well‑developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to practice independently
Interest and expertise in preventive cardiology, cardiovascular genetics, cardio‑obstetrics, cardiac MRI or cardio‑oncology are a plus
Track record in cardiovascular research
Special Physical/Mental Requirements None
