Mount Sinai South Nassau is currently seeking full-time qualified board certified/board eligible Neurologist in Wantagh. The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) is an integrated health care system providing exceptional medical care to local and global communities. Encompassing the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and eight hospital campuses in the New York metropolitan area, as well as a large, regional ambulatory footprint, Mount Sinai is internationally acclaimed for its excellence in research, patient care, and education across a range of specialties. Mount Sinai South Nassau is one of the eight hospitals that is part of the Mount Sinai Health System and is located in Oceanside, Long Island. Responsibilities
Employed full time position based at Mount Sinai South Nassau Inpatient neurology consultative services Call coverage for stroke Competitive compensation and benefits package Serve a diverse population and live in a region with excellent school districts and easy access to Manhattan Clinical Support staff: Nurses, and medical assistants EMR system: Allscripts/ Athena/ Epic Teaching and or research opportunities available Qualifications
Medical Degree from an Accredited University New York Medical License Graduate from an accredited ACGME Neurology Residency Program Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology Experienced neurologists and new graduates are welcome to apply Additional fellowship training in Vascular Neurology, EEG, or other areas is welcome but not required to apply for this position Committed to Mount Sinai South Nassau and the communities we serve Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills A system work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance driven health system Compensation range from 300K to 320K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits) Salary/Policy Information
