Federal District Court Attorney

to join our legal team. In this role, you’ll represent clients in U.S. District Court in high-stakes immigration litigation, including

Writs of Habeas Corpus ,

Writs of Mandamus , and

Injunctions . You’ll be responsible for initiating and managing federal court litigation, including habeas corpus petitions, complaints for injunctive and declaratory relief and motions for emergency relief (e.g., TROs, Stays of Removal) related to immigration enforcement actions. Day to day will include drafting and filing motions and pleadings, arguing before the court, and working closely with clients and internal legal teams. We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Immigration Lawyer to join our dynamic team. What You’ll Do: Litigate civil immigration cases in U.S. District Court (Habeas, Mandamus, TROs, Injunctions) Draft complaints, motions, briefs, and supporting legal filings Conduct legal research and craft innovative litigation strategies Initiate habeas corpus proceedings challenging ICE detention Draft and file APA claims and constitutional challenges related to agency misconduct, due process violations or unreasonable delays Represent clients in court hearings and oral arguments Collaborate with case managers and attorneys to ensure high-quality legal services What We’re Looking For: J.D. from an accredited law school Licensed and in good standing with any U.S. state bar (California preferred) 3+ years of federal civil litigation experience (immigration litigation strongly preferred) Strong legal writing, research, and courtroom advocacy skills Strong knowledge of Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), APA (5 U.S.C. § 701 et seq.), Habeas Corpus (28 U.S.C. § 2241) and Constitutional due process principles Passion for immigrant rights and systemic legal reform What We Offer: Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Ongoing training and CLE support A collaborative, purpose-driven legal environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: federal litigation : 3 years (Required) License/Certification: State Bar License (Required) Ability to Commute: Gardena, CA 90248 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Gardena, CA 90248: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
