The Reading Support Teacher position is designed to provide small group services to students needing supplemental instruction in Reading and the Language Arts.

Major Responsibilities: Provide instruction to small groups of students. Assist with educational assessments such as DIBELS. Implement and monitor student progress using computer-based programs such as i-Ready, Lexia Core, and Read Naturally. Meet with supervisors and teachers for planning purposes. Write progress notes and collect data. Other additional duties may be assigned without additional compensation or stipend. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. MA Teacher Certification or Highly Qualified. Strong background in multisensory structured language teaching. Basic knowledge of instructional technologies. Successful prior teaching experience; 3 or more years preferred, especially in reading or special education. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree. Reading Specialist certification, strongly preferred. Candidate must be flexible during pandemic times in order to support with remote and hybrid learning models. Hours:
