Shenandoah University’s Department of Arts and Sciences is accepting applications an Assistant Professor of Physics. This is a full-time benefited position located on our main campus in Winchester, Virginia.
The Division of Advanced Technology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Shenandoah University is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our faculty as an assistant professor of physics. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate lectures and labs; supervising student
research projects; and providing academic advising for students. The s uccessful candidate will play an active role in shaping and growing a new
undergraduate program in engineering and engineering physics. Shenandoah University, a private, comprehensive university located 70 miles northwest of Washington, D.C., is committed to increasing the diversity of the university community and the curriculum. Faculty members are expected to be active scholars in their fields and to participate in service to the university and the broader community. An on-campus, in-person presence is expected.
