Job Description:
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in Italian for the Fall 2025 semester.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in Italian from an accredited college, university or foreign equivalency, or Master's degree in Education or Linguistics with 18 graduate credits in Italian. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS College teaching experience. Bilingual in Spanish and English. English and other languages will be considered.
Additional Information:
Adjunct rate of pay for the 25/26 academic year is $1,483/credit hour. Classes will be assigned on an as needed basis dependent upon enrollment. Adjuncts are eligible to participate in the NYS Teacher's Retirement System.

The three (3) references listed on the application must be professional references; one of those must be a current or previous supervisor former supervisor.
