This Senior Account Executive role is a full-time position working across our portfolio of clients based out of FINN’s New York office.
Job Summary This Senior Account Executive role provides an opportunity to work on social impact and sustainability campaigns for major corporations, non-profits and global foundations and advance social good through integrated communications and marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong media relations background and experience in the sustainability or CSR space. As a Senior Account Executive, you will be a key member of our collaborative team engaged in earned media relations, publicity-driven events, and account management/reporting. You will contribute to the quality work and earned media outcomes we generate daily for our clients.
Responsibilities
Intensive media pitching; securing consistent media coverage across sustainability, business, environmental trade, consumer, and news publications.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with press and executive client contacts.
Developing assets (press releases, pitches, fact sheets, media briefings, etc.) to pique media interest.
Admin and reporting for clients; actively participating in team brainstorms and staff meetings.
Contributing to thought leadership strategy and writing; assisting with new business presentations and client management/counsel.
Leveraging strong media contacts and proven track record securing national media placements; experience in client relations; excellent writing skills; strong attention to detail.
Skills Required
Media relations and proven ability to secure media placements.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Strong interpersonal and client service skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment.
Ability to balance multiple clients and deadlines.
Solid understanding of CSR and broader sustainability landscape; develop opportunistic client storyline recommendations and communication strategy.
