ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Member Contact
Contact Members with delinquent loans, negative shares, and Visa accounts to obtain payments, arrange payment schedules, reschedule existing payments, or determine Member status to recover outstanding balances.
Initiate outbound calls and accept all incoming calls, adhering to department compliance and member information security procedures.
Provide excellent service to Members and RCU departments, making timely decisions to restore services impacted by delinquency, engaging management when needed.
Perform routine skip-tracing functions.
Implement credit union policies and departmental procedures to maintain and establish loans and accounts, minimizing escalations and working with management on escalations. Serve delinquent members by accepting payments, processing extensions, and working out loans.
Recommend accounts for collateral repossession, prepare documentation for manager approval, and coordinate with Collateral Recovery Officers. Assist as needed.
Follow up on delinquent and non-delinquent bankruptcy and deceased member accounts as assigned.
Admin Support
Assist with processing charge-off requests for un-collectible loans.
Complete departmental tasks such as typing, preparing letters, and documents.
Assist in preparing legal documents for legal action or bankruptcy support.
Prepare reports or balance general ledger accounts as assigned.
Serve non-delinquent Members by accepting payments, processing extensions, and working out loans.
Participate in departmental meetings and training programs.
