ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Member Contact Contact Members with delinquent loans, negative shares, and Visa accounts to obtain delinquent payments, arrange payment schedules, reschedule existing payments, or determine Member present status to recover outstanding balances. Initiate outbound calls and accept all incoming calls, adhering strictly to department compliance and member information security procedures. Provide excellent service to Members and all RCU departments, making timely decisions to restore services impacted by delinquent accounts, involving management when necessary. Perform routine skip-tracing functions. Ensure high-quality member service by following credit union policies and departmental procedures related to loans and accounts, minimizing escalations, and working with management on escalations. Serve delinquent members by accepting phone payments, processing extension requests, and working out loans. Recommend accounts for collateral repossession, prepare documentation for manager approval, and coordinate with Collateral Recovery Officers. Assist them as needed. Follow up on delinquent and non-delinquent bankruptcy and deceased member accounts as assigned. Admin Support Assist in processing charge-off requests for un-collectible loans. Complete departmental and back-office tasks such as typing and routine correspondence. Assist in preparing legal documents and supporting bankruptcy processes as assigned. Prepare periodic reports or balance department-related general ledger accounts as needed. Serve non-delinquent Members by accepting phone payments, processing extension requests, and working out loans. Participate in departmental meetings and training programs.
