As the Charleston Region Manager at Heritage Landcare, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations and sales of this location. Reporting directly to the VP of Regional Operations you will be responsible for managing all aspects including sales, operations, client relationships, and team management. Responsibilities
As the Charleston Region Manager your duties will include but not be limited to the following: Region Operations and Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring work is completed with safety, excellence, and efficiency Collaborate with the VP of Regional Operations to develop and implement region-specific goals, objectives, and strategies Monitor KPIs (key performance indicators), such as sales growth, client satisfaction, and employee productivity Manage the region budget, closely monitoring expenses and identifying opportunities for cost control and efficiency improvement Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices within the region Sales and Business Development: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to expand the region's client base and increase market share Develop pricing strategies and sales approaches to ensure competitiveness and profitability Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including commercial landscape installation, enhancements, and maintenance contracts Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and participate in industry events to enhance the region's visibility and reputation Review and maintain sales targets and goals set by upper management, monitoring progress and taking necessary actions to achieve or exceed targets Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients in the region’s area, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded Conduct regular client meetings to assess satisfaction levels and identify opportunities for improvement or additional services Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that client requirements are effectively communicated and executed Address any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally, working towards effective resolution Team Leadership and Development: Promote a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development Collaborate with HR to attract, hire, and retain top talent, ensuring a skilled and motivated workforce Work with Talent Acquisition and Onboarding Specialist in training of new hires to assist in retaining employees Region Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present regular reports to the VP of Regional Operations, providing updates on region performance, sales goals, market trends, and challenges Communicate effectively and regularly with the VP of Regional Operations and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment of region activities with company objectives Collaborate with other region managers and departments to share best practices, leverage resources, and ensure consistency in operations and service delivery Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, horticulture, or a related field. Relevant certifications or training in landscaping or sales are a plus Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the landscaping industry, with a focus on sales and region management Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth Strong knowledge of the commercial landscaping industry, market dynamics, and competitor landscape in the region’s area Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce Strong business acumen, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and sales strategies Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Proficiency in relevant software applications and CRM systems Valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical Demands
Work outside in various weather conditions that may be hot, cold, wet, or turbulent Work in environments with loud noise levels, requiring hearing protection Must be able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies Must understand and abide by all OSHA regulations, including wearing PPE Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods Work Schedule
Monday - Thursday 6:30am to 5:00pm NOTE: As a salaried employee, your work hours/days are structured on a completion-based schedule. This means that you are required to work until all assigned jobs for the day/week are completed, which could mean working weekend days in order to meet job completion requirements. Benefits
