St. Augustine’s University The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and reinvigorating our growing Religious Studies Program. Teaching responsibilities include survey courses, an Introduction to Theology, Black Theology courses, and upper-level courses created by the successful candidate. A secondary focus in Latin American Theology and/or Environmental Theology will be considered a plus. Candidates will be expected to teach in our Second Year Experiences program, and expertise or interest in service-learning pedagogy is especially welcome. A strong commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduates is required. Candidates must demonstrate strong or potential accomplishments in areas contributing to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a desire to play a leadership role in advancing Saint Augustine’s University’s commitment to social justice, equity, and achieving academic excellence for the transformation of individuals and communities.
