CADD Manager-Structural (L-2025-12)

As our Manager of CADD Structures you will be at the forefront of our bridge engineering endeavors, supporting a talented team in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. This role offers a unique blend of leadership, project ownership, and client interaction, providing a platform for significant professional growth and contribution. Duties: As manager of a structural CADD team: Organize and maintain CADD files and workspace for transportation engineering projects including civil, structural and electrical engineering plans and ROW plans. Ability to detail steel and concrete structures such as bridges and retaining walls. Prepare construction plans conforming to CADD standards of transportation agencies such NJDOT, NJTA, PANYNJ, NJ Transit, PennDOT, PTC, NYSDOT and NYCDDC. Prepare color plans for proposals. Prepare color displays for public meetings. Oversee and train CADD technicians. Work closely with project managers and project engineers. Perform quality control tasks such as checking the work of CADD technicians. Requirements Associate degree, vocational school or military training certificate in Engineering Graphics or related field. Ten or more years of progressive experience preparing engineering plans using CADD. Proficiency w/ Microstation and AutoCAD software. Understanding of NJ/NY/PA transportation agency CADD standards. Able to work independently and as part of a team and be committed to completing assignments accurately and on time. Preferred Attributes: BS in Engineering Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Revit and/or BIM Experience in:

Steel and concrete repairs/rehabs Bridge Structural detailing Experience with Long Span Truss bridge rehabilitation
