As our Supervising Bridge Design Engineer, you will be at the forefront of our bridge engineering endeavors, leading a talented team in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions. You will apply your deep understanding of structural engineering and your extensive experience to tackle complex challenges, including the rehabilitation of long-span bridges. This role offers a unique blend of technical leadership, project ownership, and client interaction, providing a platform for significant professional growth and contribution.
Duties:
As leader of a design team:
• Supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of bridges
• Design and detail the rehabilitation of long span trusses with built-up sections
• Direct the preparation of contract plans
• Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information
• Write or assist in the writing of reports, specifications, and correspondence
• Review and respond to contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
• Interact with clients and contractors.
• Market the firm’s services
• Assist with preparing proposals
Requirements:
• BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering
• PE license in NJ, NY or PA or ability to obtain NY, NJ or PA PE within six months
• Fifteen to twenty years’ progressive experience in bridge design and rehabilitation.
• Structural analysis, design and detailing
• Proficiency with MSWord and Excel
• Familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD
• Familiarity with NJDOT design and plan production
Preferred Attributes:
• MS in Structural Engineering
• Experience in:
o Steel and concrete repairs/rehabs
o Bridge inspection
o Long Span Truss bridge rehabilitation
o Structural design of staged construction
o Finite element analysis
• Familiarity with structural design and analysis software such as CSiBridge and/or Midas
Position is available in our Lawrenceville headquarters, however we may be able to accommodate in other Arora office locations. All positions listed are in-office.

Compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
