Posting Details: The School of Cybersecurity at Old Dominion University seeks applicants for
three lecturer positions
with expertise in the broad areas of cybersecurity and cyber operations. The Lecturers will primarily support graduate education at the School of Cybersecurity. The position also requires advising for undergraduate and graduate students. The lecturers are expected to be able to develop new cybersecurity courses to support the growth of the cybersecurity program.
Responsibilities
Support graduate education in cybersecurity and cyber operations.
Advise undergraduate and graduate students.
Develop new cybersecurity courses to support program growth.
Qualifications Minimum qualifications:
M.S. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field is required for appointment.
Successful applicants are expected to have demonstrated successful teaching experience in cybersecurity or cyber operations.
Preferred qualifications:
Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
Experience teaching hands-on lab courses in cybersecurity (cybersecurity techniques and operations, ethical hacking, etc.).
