Job Summary:
Responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions as well as related Power Platform components for Acquisition Professionals’ GovProcureIQ tool. Key tasks involve technical development using languages like C# and JavaScript, integration with other systems, creating custom PowerApps, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver efficient technical solutions. Skill set spans three skill domains—Dynamics 365/Power Platform, AI/ML, and data visualization.
Responsibilities
System integrations, custom code development, and 3rd-party application API integration
Solution Design & Development: Architecting and developing scalable, complex solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. Dynamics 365 customization/configuration (model-driven apps, business process flows)
Power Automate and Copilot Studio for AI-enabled authoring and workflows
Azure OpenAI / AI Builder integration (LLMs, semantic search, dashboards)
Dataverse data modeling and security (role-based access, conditional access)
Power BI report development (DAX, Paginated Reports, AI visuals)
DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps CI/CD, YAML builds, code scanning)
Technical Leadership: Providing technical expertise and guidance on architectural designs and best practices for Dynamics deployments
Problem-Solving: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing system performance, and improving overall system efficiency
Configure out-of-the-box workflows and create/maintain custom workflows
Configure application-related fields, forms, views, email notifications, acceptance roles, and access controls
Testing: Designing and executing test plans to ensure the quality and stability of developed solutions
Build reports, dashboards, and views
Responsible for the solution that includes high- and low-level designs, data modeling, data integration, tool configuration, and customizations
Document overall D365 system design and architecture as and where needed
Section 508 and FedRAMP compliance experience
Education/Certifications
Certification Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate Maps to Exam PL-300 and PL-400 Microsoft Dynamics CRM certification Education & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experience:
Four (4) years of hands-on development experience with Power Platform and Dynamics 365
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade Dynamics 365 CRM and/or ERP solutions
Experience with Power Platform tools like Power Automate and Power Apps
Required Qualifications Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, and JavaScript.
Working knowledge of the Dynamics CRM SDK and REST/OData APIs.
Experience with SQL Server, Python, R, Azure Synapse, and Machine Learning frameworks and database queries.
RESTful APIs, Power BI, Azure, Dataverse, vDAX, and Power Query
Validates skills in building apps, automating workflows, extending platform capabilities, and integrating with Azure
JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, HTML, .NET
Familiarity with Power Platform CLI, ALM practices, and security/authentication models
Experience with version control systems like Git and DevOpps
Experience in Agile

Salary Final salary at AP is determined by multiple factors, including geographic location, federal contract labor categories and wage rates, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications.
